Kim Victoria Cattrall born 21 August 1956 is a British Canadian actor from Canada. Most well-known for her character as Samantha Jones in the HBO Sex and the City series for which she received nominations for five Emmy Awards and four Golden Globe Award, winning the Golden Globe 2002 for the top supporting actor. She played the same role in the films Sex and the City 2008 and Sex and the City 2 2010. Her most prominent role includes Police Academy, Big Trouble from Little China Mannequin, and Porky's from the 80s. Kim Cattrall comes to mind when you talk about her role as Samantha Jones on the hit HBO TV show Sex & the City. When she emigrated to the US and was featured in numerous films as a small part, her career took off. Her debut film role was in the role of Venusian on Abbott and Costello Go to Mars. Following that, after appearing as an unknown on the set of Blood Alley she was awarded the Golden Globe in the most exciting category.
